When you first open NeighborMap, the map will show your general area. Pan and zoom to find your home, then long-press on it to set your home pin. You can change this anytime from Settings.
Tap anywhere on the map to drop a pin and create a new household. You can add the address, then tap into the household to add individual residents with their names, photos, and other details.
A household is a physical location — a house, apartment, or building. A resident is a person who lives there. Each household can have multiple residents, so you can track everyone in a family or shared home.
Yes! When editing a resident, tap the photo area to either take a new photo or choose one from your photo library. Photos are stored locally on your device and synced via your private iCloud account.
You can export any resident's info to your Contacts app with a single tap. This is a one-way push — NeighborMap never reads your contacts, it only writes when you explicitly ask it to.
NeighborMap checks for similar addresses when you create a new household. If it finds a potential match, it'll let you know so you can avoid duplicates.
NeighborMap uses a satellite view by default — it's the best way to spot individual houses. The map is powered by Apple Maps and supports standard gestures like pinch-to-zoom and rotation.
None. NeighborMap has no analytics, no tracking, no crash reporting, and no external servers. We have zero visibility into your data. See our full privacy policy for details.
Your data is stored locally on your device using Core Data and automatically synced to your private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. It never passes through any third-party server.
You can delete any household or resident directly within the app. To remove all data, uninstall the app (this clears local data). iCloud data can be managed in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.
The free version supports up to 10 households with all core features. Pro unlocks unlimited households and family sharing via iCloud. Pro is available as a monthly plan ($1.99/mo), yearly plan ($14.99/yr), or a one-time lifetime purchase ($29.99).
Open NeighborMap, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID, so it will restore automatically on any device signed into the same account.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions to view and cancel. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
